The LMATV is a 2,200 lb (998 kg) electric-hydraulic lift table for motorcycles and ATVs. It plugs into a standard 120V outlet, raises to 48 in. (1,219 mm) and converts from a 29.5 in. (749 mm) motorcycle platform to a 56.5 in. (1,435 mm) ATV platform with the side extensions.
How to choose an ATV lift
Whichever lift you buy, check these six points against the heaviest and widest machine you plan to service. Here is how the LMATV compares on each one.
1. Capacity
Use your machine's weight with fluids, plus any racks, plows, bags or other gear on it, not the dry weight. Leave a margin below the lift's rating.

2. Platform width
An ATV's tires must sit fully on the platform. Measure across the outside edges of the tires and compare it with the lift's total width.

3. Maximum lift height
Higher means less bending on long jobs. A low lowered height keeps the ramp angle gentle when you roll the machine on.

4. Air or electric-hydraulic
Many motorcycle and ATV lift tables are air-powered and need a shop compressor and air lines. Electric-hydraulic lifts only need a power outlet.

5. Wheel drop-outs
If you do tire, brake or axle work on motorcycles, a drop-out section lets the wheel hang free and saves time on every job.

6. Wheel chock and vice
A chock or vice holds a motorcycle upright on the platform. A vice gives a firmer hold, which helps when you work alone.
