Yes – All of our equipment comes from China. Daytona has a team of engineers in China that work directly with the manufacturers. This is a great benefit because we can speak with the builders directly and make changes to our product to meet customer demands. This means we can also customize our items, such as custom colours for large orders. We can take customer feedback and improve our product. We listen to you! We strive to always be improving our equipment.
ETL – All of our motors hold an ETL Certification. Equipment is tested in the factories to above their lifting capacity to ensure safety.
Yes – We sell one lift that is ALI Certified for those who would like that option. We have a 2-Post Overhead 10,000lb capacity lift. It is also our only blue coloured lift so it stands out from our other equipment.
How they are tested – ALI stands for “Automotive Lift Institute”. ALI is an American third-party certification company. Third party certification companies review products for safety and consistency. When looking at a non-ALI Lift, these lifts may go through third party testing as well, but just through a different third-party certification company such as CCQS, CE, CSA, CTI-CEM, INAB, etc. Please note, some insurance companies will require shop lifts to be ALI certified to obtain business insurance.
Parking Lifts – Our Parking lifts are very popular in residential buildings. Having a parking lift helps increase the usable space in your garage. A Parking lift allows you to easily store a summer car above your everyday car, have access to underneath your car for oil changes or maintenance in your garage, or park a Boat/ATV/Sea-Doo/Multiple Cars in your garage and still have floorspace for a workbench. Our new Parking lifts come with aluminum ramps that are light/easy to lift and can be stored on the side of the lift when not in use.
Yes – Daytona will go to locations up to a 2-hour radius from Brighton Ontario to do services such as repairs, installations, and safety inspections for hoists and tire equipment. It is recommended to have Hoists Inspected annually. Please note, your insurance company may require proof that your hoists are being inspected annually.
Our Service Team travels up to 2 hours – While most locations in Toronto are within our service radius, some locations just past “Toronto” will be outside of our range, such as Guelph, Burlington, some locations in Brampton and Oakville.

No – We Do not accept old or used equipment. We only sell new equipment.
